Er is genoeg tijd om te winkelen, een wandelingetje langs de rivier te maken of een museum te bezoeken. Diner op eigen gelegenheid. Om 22.30 uur gaan we op weg voor onze eerste nacht ‘Aurora viewing’. Een warme, gezellige cabin waar u wordt ontvangen met warme drankjes en snacks, draagt bij aan een comfortabele nacht. We keren rond 3.00 terug naar het hotel. Slaap maar lekker uit. Om 11.30 beginnen we met een rondleiding door de stad. We bezoeken Main Street, White Pass & Yukon treindepot, de houten wolkenkrabber, blokhut kerk, de raderboot ‘SS Klondike’, de visladder, Swatka Lake en een paar typische woonwijken. ’s Middags heeft u tijd om Whitehorse op eigen gelegenheid te verkennen. Om 22.30 uur komen we u ophalen voor nog een nachtje noorderlicht. ^TOP ’s Morgens rijden we over de Alaska Highway naar Haines Junction, de gateway tot Kluane National Park. Na een rit van 2 uur door een prachtig landschap met spectaculaire herfstkleuren komen we aan in Haines Junction, waar we het visitors centre bezoeken. Hier bekijken we de diverse aspecten van dit bijzondere park, en ook de dia show is zeer de moeite waard. In de namiddag een wandelingetje in het park. Op de terugweg naar Whitehorse bezoeken we Muktuk kennels, waar u kennis maakt met de meer dan 100 sledehonden. Hier staat een heerlijke BBQ maaltijd voor u klaar. Rond 7 uur zijn we dan weer terug in het hotel. Optioneel is een Aurora viewing voor vanavond te boeken. De hele dag kunt u op eigen gelegenheid Whitehorse verkennen, we halen u om 22.30 uur weer op voor het noorderlicht. Misschien voelt u er voor een extra uitstapje naar Skagway, Alaska te maken.  Optionele dagtocht naar Skagway: Op weg naar Skagway stoppen we bij Emerald Lake en de Carcross Desert. In Carcross bekijken we het treinstation met het visitors centre, de spoorbrug, de resten van de raderboot “Tushi” en de winkeltjes. Daarna rijden we over een schilderachtige weg langs de oevers van Windy Arm naar de grens met Alaska. Bij aankomst in Skagway heeft u gelegenheid voor lunch en kunt u kennis maken met dit unieke stadje met zijn vele winkeltjes. Rond 16.00 uur verlaten we Skagway en keren we terug naar Whitehorse.  ^TOPU reist verder op eigen gelegenheid of we brengen u naar het vliegveld voor uw vlucht naar huis.
